De Engelstalige master Climate Studies leert je alles over de wetenschappelijke inzichten in de oorzaken en gevolgen van wereldwijde klimaatveranderingen. Van de steeds drogere zomers in Nederland tot de onder water zinkende eilanden van de Malediven: over de hele wereld krijgen steeds meer mensen te maken met klimaatverandering. Hoe zullen ecosystemen reageren? En hoe verandert de beschikbaarheid van water en voedsel? Blijft traditionele landbouw mogelijk? Hoe zullen burgers, consumenten, bedrijven en andere sociale actoren reageren op klimaatverandering? Wat zijn de economische kosten die klimaatverandering met zich meebrengt en hoe zullen deze kosten worden verdeeld over de wereld? In de opleiding klimaatstudies houd je je bezig met deze internationale vraagstukken vanuit natuurwetenschappelijke en sociaaleconomische hoek. Zo kun je een bijdrage leveren aan de toekomst van onze planeet.
